Osher Special Events with Fees
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Osher 20 Years

Osher Special Events with Fees provide a fun way for members to socialize and experience our surrounding community together. These events and tours also help us form new friendships and stay connected in between terms when classes are not in session. Events are organized by a dedicated committee of volunteer members and through partnerships with multiple cultural organizations and businesses in our area. Registration and payment of fees are required to attend. Osher Special Events with Fees provide materials, food, beverages, supplies, space rental, etc. that must be paid in advance to each vendor. Therefore, these fees are non-refundable. Members are allowed to invite non-member guests only by advance permission from the Osher staff and on a space-available basis for each individual event. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY NEED TO SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE TO SEE ALL THE EVENTS LISTED. Osher Special Events in 2026 are brought to you in part from funding from ZAP.

Fall 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 09/10/2026

"In This Meantime": Written by Laura Munts (with Reb Fleming and Elaine Jarvik), directed by Julie Jensen and starring Reb Fleming. It is a one-woman play about aging in plain sight -- a subject avoided, disguised, or lied about. Sophia is a septuagenarian actor figuring out what she is supposed to be doing between now and when she dies. She is funny, cringeworthy, and ruthlessly honest. She is the wrong person in the right place. The right talent at the wrong age. The 45-minute performance is followed by a conversation among guests.
