The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Utah offers a rich and evolving array of courses, lectures, and special activities, taught by distinguished emeritus faculty, scholars, and community experts. Announcing Fall Term — Registration Opens August 21 at 9:00 AM!
We’re thrilled to offer 142 classes for fall term—70% in person and 30% on Zoom—so you can learn exactly where how you like. This includes 24 dynamic new courses through Osher OnlineTM at Northwestern University, giving you even more ways to stay curious and connected. With outstanding instructors, 48 fresh topics, and five classes at our beautiful Sandy Center, there are countless opportunities to follow your interests, the hardest part will be choosing where to begin!

The annual Open House for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will be held Monday August 24 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Red Butte Garden.
This is a fun opportunity to "test drive" what we offer at Osher! A membership is not required to attend. You can meet instructors and mingle with current Osher members. Fall term instructors will present previews of their upcoming classes held in September and October.
We will enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and free admission to the garden. We'll also collect school supply donations for local children in need, thanks to dedicated longtime Osher volunteer Connie Reed. Invite friends or neighbors to join you to discover our fall term offerings because back to school is not only for kids!
Osher Online with Northwestern University
Run by the National Resource Center (NRC) at Northwestern University, this special program allows members from various Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes to participate in shared online courses, thanks to the generosity of . These courses are not meant to replace our locally offered in-person or online courses but rather to supplement our own local offerings. The very high-quality courses feature popular instructors from some of the 124 Osher Institutes across the country. Osher Online allows Osher members from different states and institutions to learn with and connect to each other while maintaining membership at their own local Institutes.
