
The contact hours in this course will be spent learning the following basic principles; asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation and other traditional yoga techniques. These hours will be a mix between analytical training pertaining to teaching methodologies and practice of these techniques and guided practice of the techniques themselves. Both areas will receive substantial emphasis. This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.

Class meets online via Canvas for the first half of the semester and then in-person for the second half, after the semester break.
