This is an activity class, which allows students to select among the following three instructional areas: knowledge of figure skating, ice hockey, and other ice sports in a fun and safe environment.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our .

Class Sections For Ice Skating (ESSF 670)
Fall 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 08/24/2026
ESSF is excited to bring Ice Skating back! This will be an ALL-LEVELS course for the 1st half of the semester. This course will meet Fridays, 4:45-6:30pm, Aug. 28-Oct 9. The first 2 Fridays will be off-ice for overview and conditioning. To learn more about the course, please email the instructor Kate Jones @ u1302264@utah.edu. *Skates can be rented at the facility.
