
This advanced ceramics course merges wheel-throwing and handbuilding techniques to explore the expressive and functional potential of clay. Students will deepen their technical skills while developing a personal visual language through sculptural and utilitarian forms. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, conceptual development, and critical engagement with contemporary and historical ceramic practices. Through studio projects, research, critiques, and sketchbook development, students will refine their ability to communicate ideas through clay.
