Fused Glass Landscape in a Box Frame

Delight in the beauty of fused glass as you create textured glass artwork filled with overlapping colors. You'll use transparent colors in your choice of color gradient to create designs reminiscent of beach or sunset. Starting with a glass plate, you'll learn how to score and cut glass into strips then marvel at the science of glass, firing, and how glass reacts to heat. Your finished piece can be picked up at a later date after being fired in the kiln for a total of 50 hours! Class Sections For Fused Glass Landscape in a Box Frame (LLCFT 420)
Fall 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 11/19/2026
This class takes place at Reflective Art Studio (511 West 500 South, Unit 100, SLC, UT 84111). Special fee is for all required materials and studio rental. Students may purchase extra materials in class if needed. Because kiln-formed glass requires multiple firing and cooling cycles, finished projects are not available to take home the day of class. Projects may take up to 3-4 weeks to complete. Students will be notified when their work is ready for pickup.
