Create a stunning work of glass art using linear patterns and beautiful colors. You'll start by exploring the chemistry of glass, how to cut glass into stringers and rods, and how glass behaves under heat. By the end of this single-day class, your design will be ready to spend 50 hours in the kiln becoming a finished plate that you can show off to friends and family. Class Sections For Fused Glass Stringer Plate (LLCFT 400)
Fall 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 10/22/2026
This class takes place at Reflective Art Studio (511 West 500 South, Unit 100, SLC, UT 84111). Special fee is for all required materials and studio rental. Students may purchase extra materials in class if needed. Because kiln-formed glass requires multiple firing and cooling cycles, finished projects are not available to take home the day of class. Projects may take up to 3-4 weeks to complete. Students will be notified when their work is ready for pickup.
